Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is an Canadian actor most famously known for her role as Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was born Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter an academic, as well as Ilkay Silk who is a renowned performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory as being at play rehearsals with her mom. Silk played in a variety of commercials for children. She graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts at St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays in the early days: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future spouse, whom she was introduced to during her time in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple got engaged in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in the month of December in that same year. They renewed their vows April 10th, 2011 in Fredericton following the time that Silk changed her religion to Judaism. Silk had a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second son was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk has played a range of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for an award called the Gemini in 2009 to play this character. Silk was cast in the lead role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the season's third finale episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series during the Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk is doing work on the show since the third season finale episode premiered on January 6 2013, announced on Twitter her intention to return June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production on the fourth. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren (played by Zoie) and Lauren (Zoie) one of their favorite television couple. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought a large online audience through social networks.
